Our design service for furniture and decor is personally tailored to fit your needs and design style. Deborah will collaboratively work with you to reinvent your dream space with bespoken practical solutions while staying true to your personality and budget .

HOW IT WORKS

*Step One: A Paid Initial Consultation for the cost of $150

The process starts with an on-site consultation. A LOT is covered during this first step! The goal of the meeting is to exchange information and to get familiar with the space/s in which design assistance is needed. We identify the scope of the project, review existing conditions, discuss design goals, design style, as well as budget and schedule. This working appointment will leave you with plentiful design advice that will leave you excited to move forward with the project. If we mutually decide we are a good fit, you will provide a signed agreement in addition to a retainer in order for the design process to start. Note: This initial cost is waived if the client decides to move forward with Deborah Rivera Interiors.

*Step Two: Visual Presentation and Proposal

Within approximately 4 weeks, we will coordinate to meet for a detailed presentation at the site, which will take approximately 2-3 hours. Presentations consist of a furniture plan (to scale), 1 - 2 Moodboards with all curated selections for your project, a paint palette and drawings for all custom pieces such as window treatments, furniture and/or area rugs (if needed). You will also be able to see and feel fabric samples. A written proposal is also presented with the suggested items.

This service may range between $1,700 - $3,000 (up to 2 spaces). Merchandise not included.

*Step Three: Procurement

Upon acceptance of the proposed items, an 85% - 90% deposit is requested for the ordering process to take place.

As our receivers start receiving the merchandise, they inspect, assemble and house the goods until an installation date has been coordinated. In the meantime, we have advanced in other areas of the project… such as paint, carpentry, electrical work, etc., ( work that is intended as part of the scope).

*Note: Every project is different and will have different requirements.

*Step Four: Project Installation

During the fourth step, we will invoice the remaining balance and coordinate our very much awaited Installation Day!

This is the day your furniture, lighting and accessories are all installed and stylized for that final Designer Look you have been waiting for!

*Please note: An 8-10% Installation & Styling fee will be applied.
